How to be Safe from Alcohol Testing
Most colleges and universities practiced alcohol testing. It will determine students who used to go to school under the influence of alcohol. It will provide safety among the other students. So if you are a party goer and can’t afford to refuse alcohol even before alcohol testing, here are your guidelines to be safe from the procedure.
Think through the possible effects of drinking too much alcohol, such as losing self-control, ruining your reputation, being ill, probably putting yourself to danger through accident or alcohol poisoning, sleeping disorder, susceptibility to others taking advantage of you and wasting your money.
Inform your peers that you don’t drink, or that you tend to drink very little and only occasionally and make sure to follow your decisions. The way of expressing your thoughts are essential because to avoid offending other people who are drinkers.
Read some relevant articles from magazines or online sites that can help you deal with this situation specifically from avoiding alcohol.
Prevent from taking negative behavior and verbal reproach regarding your options personally. It can be provoking to someone who wants to drink a lot to have someone who isn’t drinking totally.
Intent to stick with people who admire your decision. If you used to be with people who don’t like it when refuse to join them, then they’re most possible not worth hanging around. Genuine friends will appreciate your decisions and may even come to depend on you as an individual who keeps them level-headed about drinking in excess.
Stay firm. Once you’ve decided on how to deal with alcohol, you have to stick with it. You will lose other’s respect if you will be changing your minds. Sticking with your personal beliefs can be difficult during peer pressure but you have to learn how to gain stronger personality.
Keep celebrating. Avoiding alcohol doesn’t mean that you will not enjoy any kinds of party. Too much drinking is not advisable, regardless of your age but socializing is best for your personality. You can drink fruit juices instead of hard liquors.
Deal with things that don’t involve drinking. Aside from partying, there are various activities that doesn’t involve with drinking alcohol. Playing games together, having movie marathon or chatting on a coffee shop are one of the best examples.
